As previous comments have stated, this app needs to have an update in order to use more than one tool at a time! Overall this is a fantastic app with beautiful graphics. Thanks!

This is a really fun and addictive game! It can get kind of hard though. This game is awesome! And kudos to the person who drew the backgrounds! Its a 5 star app but Im only going to give it 3 stars. Because of the faulty features. If my hand happens to slip, and I accidently scroll, the Blot just keeps going to the top of the screen, and I can barely get it to go down. It drives me crazy because its messing up the game. Also, the scrolling needs to be the same as in the settings. Seriously.

That says it all. It crashes upon opening. Every time.

The volume control works as long as you are on the Menu screen, but as soon as you start to play, the volume goes back to max.

After the update - if you do not run Blot in 64Bit mode it will crash and not open.

Gameplay is solid, and heck, its free! Give it a download! Things that could be better: The music-song only plays once through and then you have to turn the music on and off again to get sound back The sound effects-okay, not terrible, but the sound for going up is incredibly annoying after 3 minutes of playing The outfits-if we could use coins to buy new colors for blot, that would be awesome! Nice game, and I highly recommend it

At first i got this to pass the time, but it has been a bit more than that. this game is very enjoyable, its not exactly easy but also not angering. very addicting

This game is wonderfully addicting.. its almost a problem. But I love it.

After reading the reviews of this game and then subsequently playing it, I was rather shocked. Dont get me wrong; this game is very well polished. The mechanics are smooth. The graphics are great. I very much wanted to like this game, but its just too boring. The game is one level. Though it expands depending on how far you get, it never changes. You have to work disproportionately hard to earn the power-ups than the amount of good they do you once youve gotten them. The soundtrack is one chord-progression, played on a ukelele, looped across the entire game. The drawings are astoundingly good, but the novelty of them wears off after about 5 minutes. Your gameplay experiance will still be the same after an hour of playing. This game plays like a free flash game. It doesnt have much depth to it at all. It doesnt bring anything new to the table of a sidescrolling coin-collector. Just to be fair, heres what it wouldve taken for me to give this game 5 stars: -Extensive soundtrack -Graphics across many themes (not just the hand-drawn ones that dont serve a purpose) -New character mechanics (such as a "shoot" mechanic or whatnot) -A plot (preferably one that will motivate me to keep playing) -More unlockables (preferably ones that change the state of the game rather than simply give me a meagar advantage) -Levels that expand across the Y-axis, rather than just the X-axis etc… Again, this game is really good at what it does. My problem with it is that it doesnt do enough.

Good game..one level. gets boring after a while. is it just me or after using the portal tool the blot doesnt respond anymore? and it would be cool if we were able to place the portal where we wanted it.

I love the concept of the game its great! but it seems when ever I play the background is completely black, I can barely see the blot and it never shows the score I get.

its only a dollar and it is a fun quick game that seams to not take up that much battery life

Blot is a sidescroling, coincollecting, watch-out-for-that-spike playing game. Its pretty much exactly the same as the screenshots. Graphics are great, the level (theres only one) is chalenging and fun, and the power-ups and suits are prety sweet. The "pencil" drwings are funny but they lose their shine after a couple of replays, and the soundtrack is ok but needs more and is too short. Also, to get some of the other cool power-ups, you either have to play a LONG time to get enough coins, or buy them. All in all, if you like side-scrolling games, Blot is for you, and if you dont, there is still a possibility of liking it.

Every time I quit it erases all my data and there is no point of playing without saved data. Please fix this, when you do ill give 5 stars!

I like the game on my mac, my iPhone and ipad, its entertaining, and I play it anytime i have 5 minutes of free time. no strings attached, care free fun :D (Y)

This game is way cool, but there are some problems I think. On the One If By Land achievement, the goal is to get 80 lanterns. It kept count on one page, but when I went to my achievements, it said progress was 0/80 when had collected about 60. When I did collect all 80, it did tell me I collected them all and gave me my points. Another thing is that my highest grade is a B and in my achievements, it says F. Other than that, this game is totally awesome :)

Very entertaining for a free app, but there was a bunch of items that really are impossible to get without buying in-game coins. It is very fun, but repetitive after a few hours of not being able to earn enough for the bigger items needed to get past your records.

I have had this game for less than 6 months, and it is really cool! However, even with the updates, I have gotten all of the goals but one completed without buying any coins- and I am not a technology wizard… Sometimes I play Mario Kart, and thats about it… although I am addicted to Blot. I want more updates. I like the Paul Reveres ride, but not the Outback Challenge- it has too much going on, with the different things to watch out for. Also, I would like more chances to earn the tokens for outfits. And more slots in the toolbelt would be nice- its kinda hard to choose just three. But other than that, it is an amazing app, and well worth any price (Id be fine with $3.99, even. Its that good.) Oh, and the animals without eyes are kinda creepy. Please give them back their eyes!

This game is great, especially since its free. I didnt buy any coins, and I probably wont, but this isnt one of those games where a greedy developer cons the player into buying coins. Well worth your time, you should download it now! Right now. Go ahead and download it.
